This single-family home is the result of a complex project that tries to rehabilitate and transform an old school, where the classrooms are transformed into bedrooms and the common rooms into living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens.

It basically consists of one floor, but the topography of the land allows part of the program to be left on a semi-basement floor, invisible from the entrance but gaining relevance on the north elevation.

The intention was to recover and orientate all the spaces of the main floor, giving them a south orientation.
An old pool is transformed into a swimming pool, taking on great prominence on the main south elevation. The old outdoor spaces of the school classrooms are now converted into the terraces of the house, and its classrooms maintain their charismatic volumetry, transforming into living and social spaces.
The entrance is via the west side at its central point, where the bus entrance lane used to be, is directing the entrance to the central point of the building, where the meeting of the two old wings that made it up do not touch each other and cause the generation of an exterior patio inhabited by a series of small ash trees.

There the building is divided into the south wing, which is where a group of four secondary rooms are located that share a common living room, and the north wing where the main bedroom en suite is located and the rest of the program, which is the living room, library, dining room and kitchen.
These common spaces are directly related to the double-height semi-basement floor where there is a living room and a work area, warehouses and service rooms.
