Between tradition and modernity.

The Alqueria house is a modern town house located in the northern orchard of Valencia, with the basic elements that make up this traditional typology, patio, pool and house, reinterpreted and modernized.

The building consolidates the corner, colonizing the site in an "L" shape at two different heights for each side, leaving a central space that becomes the patio and center of the house. The project makes the most of the site,  generating completely open and continuous spaces that relate all the rooms, including the outdoor spaces, where a complete indoor-outdoor relationship is intended, turning the patio into part of home.

The heated pool, which en  at the beginning is part of the interior, also has an enclosure that allows it to be fully opened to the patio and to be able to directly participate in that outdoor space.

For the materiality, natural stone has been used for the exterior cladding and the interior day area, natural walnut wood, ceramic flooring and textured aluminum for the exterior enclosures and slats.
